LEB Silver top team - Castello (13-1) added another victory to their record on Saturday. This time they beat eleventh ranked CB Tarragona 2017 (5-9) 95-87. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But CB Tarragona 2017 won third quarter 26-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Castello made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. It was a quality performance for center Victor Hidalgo (204-86) who led the winners and scored 14 points and 7 rebounds. American center Nick Washburn (208-91, college: Hillsdale, agency: Duran International) accounted for 9 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Washburn is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Four Castello players scored in double figures. American forward Antonio Hester (198-90, college: Mobile, AL, agency: Dynamics Global Management) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and Australian-Italian guard Ben Congiusta (188-89, college: Ft.Hays State) added 22 points respectively for CB Tarragona 2017 in the defeat. CB Tarragona 2017's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Castello have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row.
