Rather expected game in Tallinn where 5th ranked BC Rakvere (8-7) was defeated by second ranked Kalev/Cramo (14-2) 89-80. BC Rakvere was ahead by 6 points at the halftime before a 48-33 second half run of Kalev/Cramo. They made 22-of-26 charity shots (84.6 percent) during the game, while BC Rakvere only scored six points from the stripe. Kalev/Cramo forced 22 BC Rakvere turnovers. BC Rakvere was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for the former international guard Rain Veideman (192-91) who led the winners and scored 22 points and 4 assists (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!). Latvian Rolands Freimanis (210-88) accounted for 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Kalev/Cramo's coach Alar Varrak allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
