Extraliga top team - Inter Bratislava (19-4) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Nitra (2-20) 116-65. The game without a history. Inter Bratislava led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 78 of its points in the paint compared to Nitra's 34. Inter Bratislava forced 26 Nitra turnovers and outrebounded them 42-24 including a 26-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Inter Bratislava players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Nitra's players. It was a great evening for international point guard Nenad Milosevic (190-83, agency: 011 Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 5 assists. Croatian guard Petar Babic (190-85) helped adding 15 points and 5 assists. Four Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures. Inter Bratislava's coach Frantisek Ron felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American forward Justin Ward (203-91, college: Lakeland) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and the former international Roman Vido (204-88) scored 14 points. Defending champion maintains first place with 19-4 record. Nitra lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 20 lost games. Inter Bratislava will play against Nova Ves (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Nitra will play against Iskra Svit and hopes to get back on the winning track.
