There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Juvecaserta (0-14) was outleveled by fifth ranked Trenkwalder RE (10-4) in Reggio Emilia 95-74 on Sunday. The game without a history. Trenkwalder RE led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Juvecaserta's 26. Trenkwalder RE looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. International point guard Andrea Cinciarini (193-86) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. American guard Drake Diener (196-81, college: De Paul, agency: Priority Sports) contributed with 17 points and 5 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. American forward Carleton Scott (203-88, college: Notre Dame) replied with 16 points and 8 rebounds and the former international swingman Michele Antonutti (202-86) added 17 points in the effort for Juvecaserta. Five Trenkwalder RE and four Juvecaserta players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Trenkwalder RE moved-up to third place, which they share with Banco di Srd. Loser Juvecaserta still closes the standings with 14 games lost. Trenkwalder RE will face Enel Brindisi (#5) on the road in the next round. Juvecaserta will play against VL Pesaro (#15) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
