Rather expected game when 10th ranked Elitzur Netanya (2-10) lost at home to eighth ranked Ramat Hasharon (4-8) 89-76 on Monday. Ramat Hasharon shot 62.0 percent from the field and had 24 for 32 from the free-throw line, while Elitzur Netanya only scored eight points from the stripe. Ramat Hasharon looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for guard Alyssa Baron (178-92, college: Pennsylvania) who led her team to a victory with 24 points and 7 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Loser Elitzur Netanya stay at the bottom place with ten games lost. Ramat Hasharon will face higher ranked Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion (#5) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Elitzur Netanya will play against Maccabi Ramat Hen (#4) and hope to win that game.
