Regular Season Round 23: Uppsala - Eco Orebro 93-73

Fifth ranked Uppsala Basket (12-6) crushed at home 10th ranked Eco Orebro (3-15) by 20 points 93-73, which is the biggest margin this round. The game without a history. Uppsala Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Uppsala Basket shot 26 for 35 from the free-throw line, while Eco Orebro only scored nine points from the stripe. Eco Orebro was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a quality performance for center Odin Lindell (205-90) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Swingman Axel Nordstrom (193-91) accounted for 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. American forward Darris Santee (203-87, college: UNLV) came up with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Johan Lofberg (199-95) added 18 points respectively for Eco Orebro in the defeat. Four Eco Orebro players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Uppsala Basket moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Sundsvall. Eco Orebro at the other side keeps the tenth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Jamtland. Uppsala Basket will play against Umea (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Eco Orebro will play against LF Basket and hopes to get back on the winning track.
