No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Sleza Wroclaw (5-8) defeated at home 11th ranked Gdynia (2-11) 92-79. It looked good early as Gdynia took an 4-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Sleza Wroclaw had a 25-16 second period charge getting the lead and Gdynia was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 79-92. Sleza Wroclaw forced 19 Gdynia turnovers. American guard Jhasmin Player (178-87, college: Baylor, agency: Merit Management Group) nailed 32 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and her fellow American import point guard Adrianne Ross (173-84, college: TCU) accounted for 17 points and 4 assists. Forward Ewelina Gala (185-90, agency: Interperformances) came up with 18 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Tiffany Brown (165-86, college: Georgia South) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively for Gdynia in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sleza Wroclaw moved-up to seventh place, which they share with MKK Siedlce. Gdynia at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 11 games lost. Sleza Wroclaw's next round opponent will be Widzew (#10) in Lodz.
