Regular Season Round 29: Qingdao E. - Shandong FB 108-91

Very predictable result when third ranked Qingdao Eagles (21-7) won against at home 11th ranked Shandong Bulls (14-15) 108-91. Qingdao Eagles made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Shandong Bulls were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Iranian center Hamed Haddadi (218-85) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 19 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and American point guard Justin Dentmon (183-85, college: Washington, agency: Comsport) chipped in 36 points (!!!) and 6 assists. Qingdao Eagles' coach Qiuping Liu allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Earl Clark (208-88, college: Louisville) responded with a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and American-Ukrainian point guard Eugene Jeter (180-83, college: Portland) scored 22 points and 5 assists. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Qingdao Eagles. They maintain third place with 21-7 record having nine points less than leader Liaoning H. Shandong Bulls at the other side dropped to the tenth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Foshan LL. Qingdao Eagles will play against Shanghai Sharks (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Shandong Bulls will play against Fujian in Jinjiang and hope to get back on the winning track.
