Eleventh ranked Gigantes (10-17) crushed at home 14th ranked Barreteros (5-21) by 25 points 109-84, which is the biggest margin this round. The game was mostly controlled by Gigantes. Barreteros was better in second period 27-26. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Gigantes players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists.
