Regular Season Round 29: Titanicos - Jefes 88-72

An interesting game took place in Leon where 7th ranked Jefes (14-14) were upseton the court of tenth ranked Titanicos (11-16) 88-72 on Thursday. The game without a history. Titanicos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Isaiah Wilkerson (190-90, college: NJIT) who scored 26 points and 5 assists. Senegalese center Babacar Camara (211-81, college: CS Fullerton) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. American forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import forward Dan Jennings (206-90, college: Long Beach St.) added 10 points and 15 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Jefes players scored in double figures. Jefes' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Titanicos have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to ninth place. Jefes lost third consecutive game. Jefes at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keep the seventh position with 14 games lost. Titanicos will meet at home higher ranked Fuerza Regia (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Jefes will play against Abejas in Guanajuato and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
