Very expected game when 11th ranked Tokyo Cinq R. (4-24) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Shinshu BW (11-15) 83-71. The game without a history. Shinshu BW led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The winners were led by American forward Patrick Sanders (198-85, college: Cal-Irvine) who scored that evening 29 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import forward DeVaughn Washington (202-89, college: Ohio) supported him with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Even a double-double of 12 points and 15 rebounds by American center Will Foster (226-88, college: Gonzaga) did not help to save the game for Tokyo Cinq R.. Guard Yuji Ide (181-88) added 15 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Shinshu BW maintains seventh position with 11-15 record. Tokyo Cinq R. lost sixth consecutive game.
