Rather expected game when 11th ranked Scafati (6-9) was defeated at home by eighth ranked Naturhouse Ferrara (9-7) 91-74 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 50-31 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Naturhouse Ferrara made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Kenny Hasbrouck (191-86, college: Siena) who helped to win the game recording 40 points (!!!) and 4 steals (made all of his eight free throws) and swingman Alessandro Amici (200-91) who added 13 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Naturhouse Ferrara players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Jeremy Simmons (204-89, college: Charleston, agency: Interperformances) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and guard Antonio Ruggiero (190-81) scored 13 points and 5 assists (made all of his eight free throws). Scafati's coach Giovanni Putignano tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Naturhouse Ferrara have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Recanati and Tortona. Newly promoted Scafati dropped to the twelfth position with nine games lost. Naturhouse Ferrara will face higher ranked Treviglio (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Scafati will play against Legnano (#11) in Castellanza and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
