Leader Liaoning Hunters delivered the twenty ninth win on Sunday night. This time they crushed 18th ranked Bayi Rockets (6-25) 94-75 in Ningbo. The game without a history. Liaoning Hunters led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Bayi Rockets' 44. American forward Deon Thompson (203-88, college: N.Carolina) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import Lester Hudson (190-84, college: Tenn-Martin, agency: Priority Sports) chipped in 21 points and 4 steals. Forward Yuchen Zou (197-96) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 17 rebounds and the former international forward Lei Wang (203-86) added 19 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Liaoning Hunters and four Bayi Rockets players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Liaoning Hunters maintains first place with 29-3 record. Bayi Rockets lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighteenth position with 25 games lost. Liaoning Hunters are looking forward to face Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (#15) in Hangzhou in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Bayi Rockets will play at home against TianJin Steel and are hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
