The game in Taiyuan was also worth to mention about. 4th placed Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (22-9) played at the court of fifth ranked Shanxi Zhongyu (22-9). Shanxi Zhongyu defeated Zhejiang Guangsha Lions 113-102. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Zhejiang Guangsha Lions. The game was mostly controlled by Shanxi Zhongyu. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions was better in fourth quarter 32-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Shanxi Zhongyu forced 19 Zhejiang Guangsha Lions turnovers. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions were plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Von Wafer (196-85, college: Florida St.) who helped to win the game recording 30 points. His fellow American import forward Jeremy Tyler (208-91, college: Louisville) contributed with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Elijah Holman (208-89, college: Detroit Mercy) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds and international guard Zirui Wang (190-93) added 17 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Zhejiang Guangsha Lions. Four Shanxi Zhongyu and five Zhejiang Guangsha Lions players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Shanxi Zhongyu have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 22-9 record, which they share with Guangsha L. Shanxi Zhongyu will play against higher ranked Beijing Ducks (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions will play against Xinjiang Flying Tige in Urumqi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
