An interesting game for Petrochimi (14-2) which hosted in Bandar Imam 3rd placed Azad (12-3). Second ranked Petrochimi managed to get a 4-point victory 91-87. Azad trailed by 16 points after 3 quarters before a 37-25 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 87-91 at the end of the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Azad helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International forward Mohammad Samad Nikkhah Bahrami (199-83) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. International Mohammad Jamshidi (199-91) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Petrochimi's coach Mehran Hatami used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game.
