No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Qazvin (8-8) beat bottom-ranked Sanaye (1-14) in Mahshahr 68-58 on Monday. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 37-25 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Qazvin made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 25 Sanaye turnovers. Strangely Sanaye outrebounded Qazvin 50-38 including 16 on the offensive glass. Vahid Eslami (197) nailed 16 points for the winning side and Majid Salehi accounted for 16 points and 6 rebounds. Qazvin's coach Mohammed Reza Eslami allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The former international guard Majid GhasemZadeh (187-89) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and Farid Zarghi (203-79) added 15 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Sanaye in the defeat. Qazvin maintains fourth place with 8-8 record. Loser Sanaye stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. Qazvin will meet at home Shahrdari Gorgan (#7) in the next round. Sanaye will play against Naft Abadan and hope to win that game.
