Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Tallinn: Kalev/Cramo (#2) and Audentese/N. (#9). Audentese/N. was smashed at home by 56 points 46-102 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. The game without a history. Kalev/Cramo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Audentese/N. to just 7 points in first quarter. Kalev/Cramo dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Audentese/N.'s 28. Kalev/Cramo forced 28 Audentese/N. turnovers and outrebounded them 43-27 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kalev/Cramo players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Audentese/N.'s players. The winners were led by the former international forward Kristjan Kitsing (205-90) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and the former international guard Rain Veideman (192-91) supported him with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Kalev/Cramo players scored in double figures. Even 10 points and 8 rebounds by power forward Madis Soodla (201-97) did not help to save the game for Audentese/N.. point guard Siim-Markus Post (182-97) added 12 points for lost side. Audentese/N.'s coach Rauno Pehka gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Defending champion maintains second position with 15-2 record having seven points less than leader TU/Rock. Audentese/N. lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost. Kalev/Cramo's next round opponent will be KK Parnu (#4) on the road. Audentese/N. will play against Valga Kalev (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
