Regular Season Round 13: Gorizont - Victoria 106-41

Undefeated leader Gorizont delivered the twelfth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 8th ranked Victoria (2-10) 106-41 in Minsk. The game without a history. Gorizont led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Victoria to just 7 points in third quarter. Gorizont dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Victoria's 30. Gorizont forced 23 Victoria turnovers and outrebounded them 49-23 including a 34-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Gorizont especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 64.7 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Victoria's players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Nadzeya Nadzezhka (180-87) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 5 rebounds. Ukrainian power forward Tetyana Antoniuk (187-95, agency: LBM Management) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Five Gorizont players scored in double figures. Swingman Tatyana Mikhnevich (174-99) answered with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Yuliya Ruksha (164-98) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Victoria. Gorizont (12-0) have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 12 victories in a row. Victoria at the other side stay at the bottom position with ten games lost. Gorizont will play against Sozh-GGU (#7) in Gomel in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Victoria will have a break next round.
