Rather expected game when 4th ranked Sarmiento F. (8-9) lost to first ranked Union SF (12-6) in Santa Fe 68-77 on Thursday. Sarmiento F. trailed by 11 points after 3 quarters before a 22-20 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 68-77 at the end of the game. It was a good game for American point guard Darrin Dorsey (188, college: Dakota Wesleyan) who led his team to a victory with 12 points and 9 rebounds. Center Fernando Podesta (205-92) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Four Union SF players scored in double figures. Guard Agustin Insaurralde (177-94) replied with 17 points and 7 assists and forward Damian Jorge Peruchena (190-89) added 9 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Sarmiento F.Sarmiento F.'s coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Union SF maintains first position with 12-6 record. Newly promoted Sarmiento F. keeps the fourth place with nine games lost.
