Regular Season Round 10: Alcobendas - Sant Adria 90-58

The game between Top Four teams took place in Alcobendas. First ranked host Alcobendas (9-1) smashed their biggest opponent Sant Adria (8-2) 90-58. It was a key game for the top position in Group B. The game without a history. Alcobendas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Four Alcobendas players scored in double figures. Alcobendas' coach Jose Cerrato felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 10 points and 15 rebounds by power forward Cris Hurtado (187-92) did not help to save the game for Sant Adria. Power forward Mireia Casanovas (179-94) added 8 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Alcobendas maintains first position in Group B with 9-1 record, which they share with CREF Hola. Newly promoted Sant Adria dropped to the third place with two games lost. Alcobendas will play against ASEFA Estudiantes (#9) in Madrid in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sant Adria will play at home against Dist.Olimpico (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
