Rather predictable result in Nagano where seventh ranked Shinshu BW (12-15) edged 10th ranked Yokohama BC (5-22) 76-73 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 23-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Yokohama BC was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American forward Patrick Sanders (198-85, college: Cal-Irvine) who scored 34 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Terrence Jennings (208-88, college: Louisville) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds.
