Regular Season Round 14: Nidaros Jets - Centrum 68-74

Bottom-ranked Centrum managed to get a second victory, breaking the seven-game losing streak. This time they won against seventh-ranked Nidaros Jets in Tromdheim 74-68. It looked good early as Nidaros Jets took an 9-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Centrum took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 6 points. They shot 62.5 percent from the field. The former international forward Miilah Kombat (198-88, college: N.Idaho JC) notched 25 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international forward Frank Nyborg (197-83) supported him with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Even a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds by Australian guard Matthew Adekponya (194-90) did not help to save the game for Nidaros Jets. American guard Kahlil McDonald (190-86, college: W.Kentucky) added 20 points and 5 assists for the hosts. Centrum maintains eighth position with 2-10 record. Newly promoted Nidaros Jets keep the seventh place with nine games lost. Centrum will play against league's second-placed Gimle BBK in Bergen in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Nidaros Jets will play on the road against the league's leader Tromso (#1) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
