There was no surprise when 8th ranked ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (8-9) was defeated on the road by second ranked JSF Nanterre (14-3) 76-65 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 11 points. JSF Nanterre looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Kyle Weems (198-89, college: Missouri St.) who scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists.
