The game in Laksevag was also quite interesting. Second ranked Tromso (10-4) played at the court of 6th ranked Froya Basket (4-8). Tromso managed to secure a 9-point victory 87-78 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 24-12 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Tromso's coach Kenneth Webb allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Ali Ouakkaha (185-90, college: Cuesta JC) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists and American power forward Peter Bullock (198-82, college: Alaska-Anch.) added 15 points respectively for the hosts. Four Froya Basket players scored in double figures. Tromso have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Froya Basket lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with eight games lost. Tromso will meet at home Nidaros Jets (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. Froya Basket will play against Asker Aliens and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
