Top ranked Akita Happinets (24-5) recorded its fifth loss on the court of fourth ranked Sendai 89ers on Saturday night. Visitors were edged by Sendai 89ers 97-95. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Akita Happinets. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 26-21. But Akita Happinets won second period 25-22. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 29 personal fouls committed by Akita Happinets helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
