The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Dublin: 11890 Killester (#8) and Meteors (#5). 11890 Killester (2-8) won against visiting Meteors (4-4) 68-62. 11890 Killester forced 23 Meteors turnovers. The best player for the winners was American swingman Robin Murphy (185-88, college: S.Mississippi) who scored 24 points and 6 rebounds. The former international guard Michelle Clarke (178-94) chipped in 17 points and 7 assists.
