The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Sodertalje Kings as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Sodertalje Kings defeated 3rd ranked Boras Basket at home 88-75. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Boras Basket. The game without a history. Sodertalje Kings led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sodertalje Kings forced 20 Boras Basket turnovers. Strangely Boras Basket outrebounded Sodertalje Kings 42-26 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Danish guard Darko Jukic (198-90, agency: Two Points) scored 27 points to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard John Roberson (180-88, college: Texas Tech) chipped in 11 points and 11 assists during the contest. The former international Christian Maraker (206-82, college: Pacific) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds and the former international center Michael Palm (209-79, college: W.Washington, agency: R.H.Consultancy) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Sodertalje Kings have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Boras Basket at the other side keeps the third place with six games lost. Boras Basket will play next round against Eco Orebro trying to get back on the winning streak. Sodertalje Kings will try to continue on its current victory against eleventh ranked KFUM Jamtland on the road.
