Very expected game in Kashiwa where 9th ranked Hitachi Cougars (2-13) were crushed by fourth ranked JX-Eneos S. (11-2) 79-57 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by JX-Eneos S.. Hitachi Cougars managed to win second period 17-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. JX-Eneos S. dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Hitachi Cougars' 28. JX-Eneos S. forced 23 Hitachi Cougars turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when JX-Eneos S. made 10 blocks.
