Very predictable result when fifth ranked Regal FC Barcelona (12-5) defeated on the road 15th ranked Andorra (5-12) 71-56 on Sunday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was international Alex Abrines (198-93) who scored 19 points. American Deshaun Thomas (201-91, college: Ohio St.) chipped in 14 points. Greek center Giorgos Bogris (210-89) produced 18 points and 5 rebounds and Bulgarian power forward Kaloyan Ivanov (205-86, agency: Beo Basket) added 5 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Bilbao Basket. Andorra lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 12 games lost. Regal FC Barcelona will meet Laboral Kutxa (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Andorra will play against the league's leader Unicaja Malaga (#1) and hope to secure a win.
