Second Stage Round 3: Dynamo Polotsk - BGEU-RCOR 63-89

Rather predictable result when BGEU-RCOR (4-8) rolled over on the road Dynamo Polotsk (2-11) 89-63 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by BGEU-RCOR. Dynamo Polotsk was better in fourth quarter 23-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BGEU-RCOR dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Dynamo Polotsk's 30. It was a good game for point guard Kanstantsin Kuptsevich (180-97) who led his team to a victory with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. Point guard Andrei Rogozenko (180-97) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Four BGEU-RCOR players scored in double figures. Forward Yauheni Mikhailovskiy (191-89) answered with 22 points and 9 rebounds and forward Vladimir Kozlov (196-81) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Dynamo Polotsk. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. BGEU-RCOR will face Prinemanye (#3) in Grodno in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Dynamo Polotsk will play on the road against Tsmoki III in Minsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
