Important game to mention about took place in Trapani. Third ranked FCM Ferentino (12-5) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 8th ranked Lighthouse TR (8-9) 72-71 on Sunday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. The guests were already 11 points ahead at halftime and as many as 17 after three quarters before a 25-9 last quarter charge of Lighthouse TR cut the lead to 72-71 at the end of the game. Naturalized American swingman Ryan Bucci (192-81, college: LIU Post) stepped up and scored 20 points for the winners and American point guard Markel Starks (188-91, college: Georgetown) chipped in 14 points and 6 assists. American guard Alex Legion (195-88, college: FIU) responded with 23 points and the former international power forward Andrea Renzi (209-89, agency: Players Group) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. Four Lighthouse TR players scored in double figures. FCM Ferentino have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 12-5 record having just two points less than leader Tezenis VE. Lighthouse TR at the other side keeps the eighth position with nine games lost. FCM Ferentino will play against Angelico Biella (#7) at home in the next round. Lighthouse TR will play against Manital Torino and hopes to get back on the winning track.
