No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Trieste (9-8) beat on the road bottom-ranked CZG Veroli (2-14) 76-70. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But CZG Veroli won third quarter 19-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Trieste won last quarter 23-19. The best player for the winners was American forward Murphy Holloway (201-90, college: Mississippi) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds. The former international Stefano Tonut (194-93) chipped in 20 points. Croatian power forward Ivica Radic (208-90, agency: XL Basketball Agency) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Alessandro Grande (178-94) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts.
