LFB top team - Bourges (14-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Tarbes (9-6) 87-59. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Tarbes. The game without a history. Bourges led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Tarbes' 40. Bourges forced 19 Tarbes turnovers and outrebounded them 45-20 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Tarbes' players. Tarbes was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for international center Helena Ciak (197-89, agency: Comsport) who led her team to a victory scoring 17 points and 8 rebounds. The former international guard Paoline Salagnac (176-84, agency: Josep and Nicolas) helped adding 12 points and 8 rebounds. Five Bourges players scored in double figures. Bourges' coach Valerie Garnier felt very confident using 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Ukrainian center Valeriya Berezhynska (193-86, college: Rice, agency: Josep and Nicolas) with 19 points and 5 rebounds and guard Sylvie Gruszczynski (173-86, agency: Comsport) scored 13 points and 5 assists.
