The most exciting game of round 14 in the Damligan took place in Solna. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Mark Basket (7-7) to eleventh ranked Solna Vikings (2-12) 72-71 on Sunday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. The hosts trailed by 10 points after three quarters before their 26-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Jasmine Thomas (170-91, college: Michigan St.) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds and forward Elin Ljunggren (184-96) scored 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Solna Vikings maintains eleventh position with 2-12 record, which they share with 08. Mark Basket at the other side dropped to the sixth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Telge. Solna Vikings is looking forward to face higher ranked Alvik Basket (#4) in Stockholm in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Mark Basket will play at home against 08 Stockholm and is hoping to win this game.
