Rather predictable result when third ranked Vicenza (12-3) won against at home 6th ranked Cagliari A. (5-9) 66-53 on Sunday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Vicenza dominated on the defensive end, holding Cagliari A. to just 7 points in first quarter. They also forced 22 Cagliari A. turnovers and outrebounded them 37-22 including 24 on the defensive glass. Spanish forward Clara Anglada (185-92, college: Siena) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 5 rebounds.
