Leader Townsville Fire delivered the thirteenth victory on Sunday night. This time they crushed 7th ranked West Coast Waves (4-13) 92-72 in Perth. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 12-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 92-72. Townsville Fire looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The former international center Cayla Francis (192-89) stepped up and scored 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard Stephanie Cumming (178-90) chipped in 17 points and 5 assists. At the losing side forward Darcy Garbin (185-94) responded with 19 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Lindsey Moore (175-91, college: Nebraska) scored 14 points.
