Regular Season Round 16: Brasilia - Bauru 74-85

Date: January 20, 2015
Everything went according to plan when second ranked Paschoalotto/Bauru (14-2) beat on the road 12th ranked Brasilia (5-11) 85-74 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by Paschoalotto/Bauru. Brasilia was better in third quarter 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Rafael Hettsheimer (206-86) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 7 rebounds and international guard Alex Ribeiro (191-80, agency: Interperformances) who added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side point guard Frederico Lima (180-80) responded with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Kyle Lamonte (191-84, college: William Carey) scored 17 points. Brasilia's coach Jose Carlos Vidal let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Paschoalotto/Bauru have an impressive 11-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 14-2 record behind leader Limeira. Brasilia lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with 11 games lost. Paschoalotto/Bauru will face SKY/Basquete (#14) in Aldeota in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Brasilia will play at home against Vivo/Franca and hope to win that game.
