The game between closely ranked teams ended with eighth ranked Valga Kalev's (3-9) road victory over bottom-ranked Audentese/N. (2-14) in Tallinn 112-72 on Tuesday. The game without a history. Valga Kalev led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 61.9 percent from the field and made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game, while Audentese/N. only scored seven points from the stripe. They outrebounded Audentese/N. 50-24 including a 40-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Valga Kalev looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Latvian swingman Edgars Krumins (194-86) nailed a double-double by scoring 26 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side and the former international center Viljar Veski (215-86) accounted for 15 points and 10 rebounds. Five Valga Kalev players scored in double figures. Forward Karl-Robin Jurjens (202-96) came up with 24 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Siim-Markus Post (182-97) added 17 points respectively for Audentese/N. in the defeat. Audentese/N.'s coach Rauno Pehka gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Valga Kalev moved-up to seventh place. Audentese/N. lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. Valga Kalev will meet at home higher ranked KK Parnu (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Audentese/N. will play against BC Rakvere (#4) and hope to secure a win.
