Regular Season Round 33: Fujian QB - Foshan LL 126-116

An interesting game took place in Jinjiang where higher ranked Foshan (15-18) was upset on the court of sixteenth ranked Fujian (9-24) 126-116. 25 personal fouls committed by Foshan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for American point guard John Lucas III (180-82, college: Oklahoma St.) who led his team to a victory with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. International Zhelin Wang (215-94) contributed with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Fujian's coach Aleksandar Kesar allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard LingXu Zeng (193-87) answered with 31 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Junwei Ren (203-90) added 25 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Foshan. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Fujian maintains sixteenth place with 9-24 record. Foshan at the other side dropped to the eleventh position with 18 games lost. Fujian's next round opponent will be Sichuan BW (#19) on the road.
