Regular Season Round 27: Boras - Eco Orebro 89-87

Tenth-ranked Eco Orebro (4-18) made lots of trouble for third ranked Boras Basket (15-6). Boras Basket managed to secure only two-point victory 89-87. However their fans expected much easier game. Eco Orebro cut a 15-point halftime deficit to two at the end of the game. Boras Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Danish guard Adama Darboe (190-86) who led the winners and scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. The former international Christian Maraker (206-82, college: Pacific) accounted for 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. American point guard Cliff Colimon (182-89, college: E.Washington) came up with 18 points and 8 assists and Hungarian power forward Miklos Szabo (204-86, college: Hofstra, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) added 12 points and 13 rebounds respectively for Eco Orebro in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Boras Basket maintains third place with 15-6 record behind leader Sodertalje. Eco Orebro at the other side keeps the tenth position with 18 games lost. Boras Basket's next round opponent will be Umea (#9) on the road which should be theoretically an easy game. Eco Orebro will play against the league's second-placed Norrkoping Dolphins and hope to win that game.
