Regular Season Round 18: NSH GMC - JNE BSC 57-80

Rather predictable result in Jakarta where ninth ranked JNE BSC (4-8) smashed 11th ranked NSH GMC (2-9) 80-57 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by JNE BSC. NSH GMC was better in second period 16-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded NSH GMC 40-22 including 27 on the defensive glass. JNE BSC looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. NSH GMC was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Luke Martinus (188-88) scored 26 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Teddy Apriyana (187-90) chipped in 9 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was Lutfi Alfian Eka Koswara (180-94) with 14 points and point guard Imanudin Husnuzan (168-81) scored 9 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. JNE BSC moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Stadium. NSH GMC at the other side keeps the eleventh position with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
