An interesting game for TYCO Rapla (11-6) which played road game in Rakvere against 4th placed BC Rakvere (8-8). Third ranked TYCO Rapla managed to get a 4-point victory 84-80. BC Rakvere was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 8-point lead after three quarters before a 26-14 charge of TYCO Rapla, which allowed them to win the game. They made 28-of-35 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. 29 personal fouls committed by BC Rakvere helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Swingman Janar Soo (199-91, agency: Players Group) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). The former international forward Rait Keerles (201-80, agency: Promotex) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners. Four TYCO Rapla players scored in double figures. TYCO Rapla's coach Aivar Kuusmaa used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Brandis Raley-Ross (188-87, college: S.Carolina) answered with 28 points and the former international power forward Reinar Hallik (207-84) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for BC Rakvere. TYCO Rapla have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain third place with 11-6 record having thirteen points less than leader TU/Rock. BC Rakvere at the other side keeps the fourth position with eight games lost. TYCO Rapla are looking forward to face league's second-placed Kalev/Cramo in Tallinn in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BC Rakvere will play on the road against Audentese/N. in Tallinn and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
