Lille Metropole (6-11) outlasted Fos Ouest (6-11) in overtime by two points 92-90 on Friday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Fos Ouest. Fos Ouest was trailing by 10 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 19-17 charge of Lille Metropole, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 20-18. Lille Metropole made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Fos Ouest's players. The best player for the winners was naturalized Burkinabe Jean-Victor Traore (204-85) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. American guard B.A. Walker (188-84, college: VCU) chipped in 23 points and 8 assists. Lille Metropole's coach Neno Asceric used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Edouard Choquet (188-88) produced 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and American Bill Clark (200-88, college: Duquesne) added 16 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Fos Ouest players scored in double figures. Lille Metropole moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with defeated Fos Ouest.
