The game with biggest result difference took place in Hangzhou. Local Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (24-10) outscored 13th ranked TianJin Steel (12-22) 114-85 on Friday night. The game was mostly controlled by Zhejiang Guangsha Lions. TianJin Steel was better in fourth quarter 22-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions forced 22 TianJin Steel turnovers. The game was dominated by American players. Power forward Elijah Holman (208-89, college: Detroit Mercy) fired a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 rebounds (on 14-of-16 shooting from the field) for the winners. Guard Kevin Murphy (196-90, college: Tenn Tech, agency: Priority Sports) chipped in 26 points and 6 assists. Four Zhejiang Guangsha Lions players scored in double figures. Forward Shelden Williams (206-83, college: Duke) produced 21 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his fourteen free throws !!!) and point guard Dwight Buycks (191-89, college: Marquette) added 19 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions maintains fifth position with 24-10 record. Loser TianJin Steel keeps the thirteenth place with 22 games lost. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions will face Jiangsu TX (#17) on the road in the next round which should be another easy win for them. TianJin Steel will play against Beijing Ducks (#4) and hope to win that game.
