Regular Season Round 24: Aishin SH - Hyogo S. 94-81

The game between Top Four teams took place in Kariya. First ranked host Aishin Sea Horses (20-2) defeated 4th ranked Hyogo S. (11-14) 94-81. Aishin Sea Horses dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Hyogo S.'s 54. Worth to mention a great performance of international swingman Kosuke Kanamaru (193-89) who helped to win the game recording 34 points (!!!) and the former international forward Michael Takahashi (198-74, college: CS Northridge) who added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American center Isaac Butts (208-89, college: Appalachian St.) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds and swingman Naoki Tani (193-88) scored 17 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Four Hyogo S. players scored in double figures. Aishin Sea Horses maintains first position with 20-2 record. Hyogo S. at the other side keeps the fourth place with 14 games lost. Aishin Sea Horses are again looking forward to face Hyogo S. (#4) at home in the next round. Hyogo S. will have a break next round.
