No shocking result in a game when third ranked Kyoto Hannar. (24-5) won against on the road 5th ranked Osaka Evessa (17-12) 70-58 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 8 points at the halftime before their 44-24 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Kyoto Hannar. outrebounded Osaka Evessa 40-29 including a 32-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American forward David Palmer (201-82, college: S.Utah) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.
