Second Stage Round 4: Rubon II - Impuls BGUIR 84-75

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Impuls BGUIR (9-7) in Vitebsk on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Rubon II (3-11) 84-75. The game without a history. Rubon II led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Ivan Aladko (192-95, agency: Mike Diesel) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Dimitri Sivalko (199-85) who added 24 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four Rubon II players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Yaraslau Kurapau (200-91) responded with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds and guard Kiril Volodkin (190-91, agency: Mike Diesel) scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Despite that victory Rubon II went down to fifth position (League) due to points difference. Impuls BGUIR at the other side still keeps top place with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
