Very expected game when Haga Haninge (0-2) was smashed at home by Helsingborg (2-1) 88-67 on Sunday. The game without a history. Helsingborg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Haga Haninge's 44. Helsingborg forced 22 Haga Haninge turnovers. It was a good game for guard Max Johansson (195-92) who led his team to a victory with 24 points. Naturalized Serbian center Marko Marinkovic (206-95) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Helsingborg's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rajacic Bojan answered with 28 points and 7 rebounds and American point guard Montelle Williams (193-83) added 10 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Haga Haninge. Helsingborg will face Eskilstuna on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Haga Haninge will play against Sanda Basket (#15) in Huskvarna and hopes to get finally their first victory.
