Regular Season Round 35: Jiangsu D. - Zhejiang CB 114-124

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifteenth ranked Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank (11-24) defeated 14th ranked Jiangsu Dragons (11-24) in Nanjing 124-114 on Sunday. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to Jiangsu Dragons' 56 and made 18-of-19 free shots (94.7 percent) during the game. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American point guard Errick McCollum (185-88, college: Goshen) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 10 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). His fellow American import forward Charles Gaines (201-81, college: S.Mississippi) contributed with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners. The former international forward Lin Chang (206-88, college: Long Beach St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and American power forward Arnett Moultrie (208-90, college: Mississippi St., agency: David Lee services) added 21 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Jiangsu Dragons. Four Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank and five Jiangsu Dragons players scored in double figures. Jiangsu Dragons' coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Jiangsu D. Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank will face higher ranked DongGuan Leopards (#8) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
