Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Albino (8-8) outscored on the road 7th ranked Virtus Cagliari (4-11) 77-49 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-49. Albino dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Virtus Cagliari's 22. They outrebounded Virtus Cagliari 43-18 including a 15-2 advantage in offensive rebounds.
